Sibelius: Kullervo/LAPO
Anyone know who was playing tuba on this? It was recorded in February of 1992. Really fine recording of this piece as well!

Was it recorded in 1992 or 1993?
I remember playing it but can't remember if I recorded it. If it was February 1993 it was Gene Pokorney

Re: Sibelius: Kullervo/LAPO
I just found the recording date:
"Recorded at Royce Hall, UCLA Campus, Los Angeles, California, USA, February 17 & 18, 1992"
It was me and I was playing a Perantucci/Kurath 5/4 CC that I owned at the time.

Thanks for the info. It really is a great recording, especially the 4th movement. Everyone should check it out!
