Dearest TNFJ,
Would it be possible to take the 5th valve slide off a YFB-821 (the Bobo model) and use it on a YFB-621?
Swap 5th valve slides between yfb-621 and yfb-821?

Yep I had seen that thread, and I've already called and asked Ferguson Music. They suggested I post here with the question. I'm mainly interested if I would be able to use the "folded over" 5th valve slide from the 821. The 5th valve extension on the 621 gets in my way a fair amount.

Probably a tough question to get a definite reply on. The 821 would be extremely rare, so that very few stores or shops would have them both in-house at the same time for a hands-om hardware test.
If the 5th (really the first) slide has the 0.689" of the 4 piston slides, then a good repairman should have or be able to easily get the bows of two 2nd slides. Then the original 621 slide could be modified without too much trouble.
