Having a hard time...

Post by pattonsj »

find valve buttons for a Kalison. Talked to Mike at the Tuba Exchange and the ones that he has that will fit it are brass. The silver one that he has is the wrong thread. I need one that is M4 x .7 thread and the one he has is M4 x .75 . Next I email G&P, they say to contact the Tuba Exchange. Next step, I contact Roger. He had 4 Willson buttons on his desk with, of course, thread M4 x .75 . He suggests get the brass ones and have them plated. That will be my last ditch effort but Im running out of options. Is there anyone on here that can help me with this? I would really appreciate any help that can be provided.

Buy 5 in brass. Use one for your immediate playing needs. Have 4 gold plated. When they come back get the one in brass silver plated, and you have an everyday and a galla tuba in one.
