I was just browsing through the Tube Exchange website, and noticed that the picture they have of the Miraphone TE-186B-5U CC Tuba has an extended 2-3 fifth valve...is this right, or am I just confused....or both? I'm not sure if Miraphone still produces the 186 with a 2-3 fifth.

I sent them an email, so we'll see what's up.
By the way, I've never played a tuba with a long major 2nd fifth, but I too enjoy the 2-3 configuration

Got it covered!Dear Joseph:
Thank you for your E-mail.
Thank you also for pointing out the incorrect web site picture of the TE-186B CC tuba , which now has the 1.5 step fifth valve (A valve) instead of the 2 step fifth valve (Ab valve) shown in the picture. We will make the necessary change of picture as soon as possible.
Thanks again.
