Mama Digdown Brass Band (from Madison, WI) is on an East Coast tour and will be in the NYC area this weekend - very good sound, brassy & funky!

OH yes! - The Nightcrawlers are a favorite of mine (along with Bonerama) and Matt is very busy with them and 3 or 4 other bands.

Regarding the Repercussions, we have band members from all over NorCal, including Sacramento and Davis - maybe a carpool will work for you.
