A pitty that the two euph valves are too small in bore to be of any use in a cimbasso context. Of course they might be placed early in the new bugle to act sort of like the left hand valves on your B&S F tuba.

Will this cimbasso be in Eb or rather a 4+2 sample in F with kicker on the 5th?

One question I forgot asking:

I the 5th valve (rotor & loop) part of the block?

- ' much less work to simply leave the factory-made Willson valveset as it is, yet
- I'm a stronger (written-down music) reader with an F instrument.
My advise of course will be to keep it in Eb with 5 or 6 valves. You then won’t use it in orchestral and quintet contexts due to slight inconvenience of reading. Which leaves it free for me to buy.
