Haven't recent Besson serial numbers included date codes? Someone can surely help here.

According to information provided by Steve Mead in this thread on Dave Werden's website, the serial number of the first production Buffet-Crampon Besson euph was 06300012 and was made in Nov. 2006.

Doug Ruby notes further down in the thread that his Besson Prestige, s/n 06300175, was completed on Jan 21, 2007.

Assuming that serial numbers are allocated serially and that the individual instruments are finished in the order in which their numbers are allocated, that would suggest a terminus post quem for the OP's instrument of of Nov 2006 and a terminus ante quem of January 2007.
