Buzbee and Albany Records youtube clips

Post by tbuzbee »

Hey,
Here are two clips that Albany records put together from my debut cd "BUZZED" and my new cd which will be released in a few weeks. The BUZZED clip is the first mvt. of the Konsert Svit for 4 horns and solo tuba by Christer Danielsson. The other clip is the entire Broughton Concerto, recorded with the Iceland Symphony, from my new cd intitled Raw Emotion. Raw Emotions will also contain Concertos by Barbara York, Steven Winteregg, and Three Furies by James Grant, the orchestra version! The conductor is a fellow tubist Jacomo Bairos. Enjoy!

Cheers,
Tim Buzbee

Excellent playing and recording!!

It's cool to hear Jacomo Bairos's name again. He worked at a camp I attended last year and he's a very, very cool guy to work with.

Terrific playing as always. By they way, the Iceland Symphony makes excellent music on the clip I heard.

Yes, they are cool!

Let’s hope they can afford running the orchestra despite their national economy being down the drains.

I got a copy of this CD. It rocks.

Tim, you've got such a wonderful sound--Bobo-esque, with a solid core. And this is one of the better Albany CDs in terms of engineering and producing. This has quickly climbed to the top five of my all-time favorite tuba recordings.

My favorite piece is the "Three Furies" by James Grant.

Congratulations on excellent, excellent work. I'm inspired by it.
