Wedding anniversary

Post by Rick F »

It's my wife's and my 40th wedding anniversary this coming Saturday. I'm thinking of going someplace special. Might splurge and go to Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Not sure where my wife will go.

Congratulations, Rick on your 40th. You like me, must have developed a high pain threshold.
My Hariett and I have been at it for 48 years.
Boy, are we sick of each other.
We pronounce it Guf Coast

Wow, 40 must be catching! My Harriet [fortunately, we call her Dutch] and I will have been married 40 years this September. Maybe after a tuba player, they are spoiled for others? It sure has been a fun ride! 8)
Bearin' up!

My sisters and I threw a party for my parents' 40th last Sunday. Congratulations on yours! You go to Ruth's Chris, and send your wife to Wendy's. :)
My second is on Tuesday.

More likely, he AND his wife should go to Ruth's Chris, and you and your wife should go to Wendy's. Congratulations to you, too.

We "celebrated" our 45th this year (7/11/1964) which means we're 90% of the way to the big GOLD. I did bring her a cup of tea and a chocolate bar whilst she was still abed early in morning and that seemed to satisfy the anniversary obligation.
