Both instruments are interesting.
The Boosey’s bright silverplate cannot be original. Either it started out a lacquered or the frosting has been buffed off.
The Higham may have been all by the nominal maker, but I tend to doubt that. It simply is too similar to the same model from the patent holder: Boosey.
The two instruments may be very close in age and may be by the same maker. The Higham started in high pitch and was changed to low pitch via a longer main tuning slide.
