Harmonic Dissidents is out. Some of us from the Honk!Fest street band community have pooled our efforts to produce this interactive magazine + blogsite. We hope you can use it to promote music as a force for positive political change. Harmonic Dissidents #1 contains:
· Inside looks at Obama’s plan to stimulate community music,
· Ready-to-play arrangements of some good tunes,
· Reports from bands with great ideas on performance opportunities,
· Perspectives on community music making,
· A profile of community music advocate Charlie Keil, and
· Plans for Honk!Fest 4 in Somerville, MA, Oct 9-11.
