subliminal learning

Hi again, I was looking for Tuba music on a CD bought velvet browns CD and then saw this CD on subliminal learning the tuba.. I'm going to try it tonight in its entirety(played a little this morning head started hurting<S>) Has anyone tried this technique to help them play better???Does anyone think it will work?One tract has a part that says.."Ultrasonic silent subliminal programming and suggests that you don't listen to it while driving.. I just use the "Think System" from The Music Man. Just think of the beautiful tones and they'll come. LOL, just kidding! No, I haven't heard of it. I have an open mind. It couldn't hurt with the acception of the money missing from your bank account. Nothing replaces practice time though. "Practice doesn't make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect."

Well I listened to the CD last night ..three times and woke up with a terrible headache in the back of my head and I don't know weather I know anymore or not!!Gotta wait till I get my horn back from flushing to find out!!Man I'm a little bummed!! The brain controls the muscles and nerves of the face, lips and lungs. Plus any other muscles involved in playing. If there is no muscle development, there is nothing there for the brain to control. Muscle development only comes through hours of practice.

There are no magic bullets.

He was insulting my alma mater, the University of Washington. It is located on Lake Washington in the Seattle area. One of the virtues of the football stadium is a view of said lake. It is possible to arrive at the game by boat- one of the few stadiums in the USA where that is possible.

Since the school is on a lake, some vulgar people call it the "Mistake By The Lake" although not frequently.

I would have loved to hear the Marine Band play. Even with the insults from the tuba section, although Seattle is more of a Navy town.

The illustration isn’t as accurate as desired. We all know that bloke used to run (until a knee injury). Also that he is a ball artist when it comes to dents. But for one reason or another I couldn’t find an illustration of a trackball with a third ear on the back.
