Yeah, Steve is right...there are two versions. make sure if you are hired to play this that they are actually using the version with tuba. it sucks to get a call a week before a gig telling you they are sorry, but the version they are using doesn't need tuba afterall.

I have played it in university orcheatra, and it was great music. The tuba part itself, has nothing really worth mentioning, but I did like the 3rd movement. In the 3rd movement, Domine Jesu Christem, at rehearsal 24, there is a low C marked at sub f would always turn into a ff and would startle the tenors and basses every time, because we were situated so close together! I loved doing it...
