IE8 browsing history

Post by Bob Kolada »

I made the somewhat questionable mistake of letting my brother and his friend use my computer. They didn't do anything wrong. :D

What they did do was check out a bunch of popular websites including facebook. Whatever. But now when I try to get to tubenet (saved as a favorite) I keep getting facebook as one of the options. I tried "control shift delete" but that doesn't seem to delete browing history anymore. :? Anyone got any ideas?
It's not so much the mild inconvenience of typing 2 or 3 letters :D as not being able to do something that used to work fine. Life....

Do you have Vista or XP or ? (not sure if it matters). All I have to do to delete the history in IE8 is to go to Tools > Internet Options, click delete for browsing history on the general tab and then click delete again in the next window. All gone. Works on every computer I've tried it on....
