Experience with the CenterPitch Tuner?

Does anyone have first-hand experience with the CenterPitch Universal tuner being sold on the Dillons website?

I've tried a clip-on "pick-up" with a tuner, with little success. I was wondering how well these tuners work while clipped on to a tuba.

I tried one on the leadpipe of a couple of my tubas. I found it had trouble with anything below the Eb below the staff. They may have improved since I used it, but my son now uses it with his guitars with great success and I am using a Korg.
