Dixieland Combo needed in New Orleans

Post by Joey2ba »

Gentleman and Ladies, My sister is the Director of events with Sara Lee and she is coordinating a nation wide sales meeting in New Orleans December 7th 2010. The venue is the Blue Room at the Roosevelt Hotel.

The hotel has suggested their usual ensemble for this event; however, my sister asked that I put the feelers out on Tubnet to “find something different”.

If you know of a great Dixieland combo please let me know so I can put you in contact with the right person.

Thanks,
Joey Celmer

Not to state the obvious... but a Dixieland band in Nw Orleans should be pretty easy to find.

A klezmer band. however...

Depending on the gig, I would just contact a musician directly and tell what is needed. Then they would get a band together for the occasion.

The list of people I would like to call is quite long, but to name a few:

Leroy Jones
Matt Perrine
Shannon Powell
Wendell Brunius
John Cleary
Tom Mcdermott
Craig Klein
Evan Christopher
ect...
