You have just been added, but you are touching on a problem. I am new to FaceBook, and hardly had I joined before a number of people requested friendship. I am old and quirky, so I want to be sure about whom I let in as friends. Some of the requests come from persons I definitely never interacted with, and their names tell them being from countries, where I have no contacts. In other cases like yours I cannot relate a full name to a screen name, which I might be aware of. Now I could compare your mugshot with the Hiker’s guide, and that solved things.

But the problem also goes the other way round. Whereas my full name is unique on the planet as well as in history, then many of my potential friends happen to share their names with hundreds. And I cannot look through such lists. One problem with being sight impaired is, that one only can find things if one already knows exactly where to look.

Klaus

PS: I miss the email addresses from some of my friends. I work with 4 monitors to allow for sufficient magnifying. I have just finished a project about a a potentially interesting new repertory item for euph or tuba. I am going to send the .pdf’s to my friends before going public.

What model sousaphone is that Bob?

It looks to me like a Tubassist would be ideal to support that 3J

Bob,

That's a beautiful looking 3J. It looks practically new. How old is it?

This horn was made in 1979 in July and I bought it brand new in '87 it's only been outside for one tuba fest in 1990 and only goes out now for my lessons The case is brand new I have never used it yet..it will probaly get banged up when I get the confidence to play with other people or join a band<s> Thanks for the horn compliment<s> bigbob
