Gronitz PBK

Post by oedipoes »

Hi all,

For those interested, I just got some season's greetings from Gronitz, Hamburg.
They also let me know that they have a brand new PBK BBb tuba ready to try in the shop!

So for those of you that will be near Hamburg in the next weeks or months, let's go, try and report on Tubenet !!
I have never read any report on the PBK from somebody that actually played it, so this might be your chance.
If this horn plays anything like the PCK, with the BBb characteristic of better tuning, it should be no less than spectacular!

I won't make it to Hamburg any more this year, but I'll stop by whenever I get the chance next year.

Their website quotes 10 000 EUR + 455 EUR for lacquering.
Very fair price in my humble opinion...

Try the website http://www.gronitztuba.de
You will find pictures there.

That's the main thing with PBK's, we all heard ABOUT them, but hardly anybody actually heard them in real life.
