A '41 bell front Holton 6/4 front action BBb. It's still listed on the Dillon Used Tuba site but it's all mine now. Great horn - a good match with my Conn 20J. I think it might be a 340 but you tuba archivists could probably identify it.

Congratulations she is a beauty. Those things are just so much fun to play. You'll play many, many tubas but there's just no comparison to the way the 20js play and the things they can do! Have fun with that beast and never stop playing it!

I suppose my "Christmas gift" is the 1916 Conn Giant Eb I bought about a month or so ago. Finally, a 4 valved tuba! :tuba:

Cool! I think you need a picture with all 3 of your giant tubas. :D

Unfortunately Santa did not leave a Starlight under the tree. He did, however, leave some new tools. (Santa figured out that he has much more success giving Tuba-MA tools than "girlie" stuff. :)

And the cat got a present, too; yesterday a bunny showed up to keep her company. So far, so good....but we will still be thinking on it for a week or so. Rescue organizations take them back, and you don't have to worry that they will end up dinner. And he's a sweetheart, too. Lop-eared and fuzzy and hoppy.

I never find anything neat! The only tuba I ever found was that Mastertone Eb I had for a while (played OK, but the 2nd partial sucked) which I did end up getting for free (and selling for like 400 bucks!). :D

That's probably one of the coolest 3 valve horns ever. How's low Eb? My buddy's Holton Eb (now on eBay) had an awesome low Ab.
