Well in that case, I have found the PT606p to be a good, solid horn (certainly above average); with a great 'American' sound. Response, intonation, flexibility, etc; were fine, but the kind of sound it produced did not match the sound I had in my head a that particular time. The 'tuba sound in my head' has changed slightly since I started college, and I do have my personal preferences, but the PT606p a great 4/4 CC, no doubt about it.
Congrats on getting a great horn. Now, get thee to a practice room!
