When I stay up and watch TV, which happens about once a month, maybe, I am not at all tempted to watch talk shows. But Jay Leno does get my respect as a car nut.

I'm not sure that the latenight shows ever "recovered" from the writer's strike.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
