Was just wondering if any of you guys knew of any good pep band tunes to play in the stands at basketball games and what not and where a good place would be to get them.
Thanks in advanced.

A couple of the standards are Land of 1000 Dances and Hey Baby. A few that my students play and really seem to enjoy: Championship, Smoke on the Water, Final Countdown, Tequilla, and 25 or 6 to 4. I've had a lot of good luck with the tunes put out by Arrangers Publishing.
I buy all of my music either from JW Pepper or Popplers Music (Grand Forks, ND) and have been doing business with both for many years without any problems. I live in Grand Forks so I usually just run over to the store and find stuff, but before I moved to ND I did phone sales with them and was always happy.

I'm not sure where to buy them, but here's a few tunes that have survived the test of time in my high school's Pep Band.
Gimme' Some Lovin'
What I like About You
Hold on I'm Comin'
The Hand that Feeds
Mortal Combat (easily learned by ear)

Do a search for "Combo Blasters for Pep Band". They are great for pick-up bands, alumni bands, etc..
This flip-folio book set contains pep band charts arranged by Victor Lopez that are playable by as few as four players up to a full band, with rock rhythm section parts. ... The titles include Respect, Eye of the Tiger, Peter Gunn and more!
