Last year about this time Gene Pokorny played it on a CSO concert. Before the concert was a Q&A with the composer. I asked John Stevens if there was a chance of a recording coming soon. His reply was that he hoped so, but that it would be totally up to the performer. I asked Gene later that night and he said that he had thought about it, but it wasn't in the near future. Again, that was a year ago, and there was no recording to date. The best person to ask is the composer himself: jdsteven@wisc.edu . Another person to try is Mickey Moore at University of Illinios memoore@uiuc.edu , I know that he has performed it and might have a copy of himself playing it. Best of luck hunting and let us know if you find out anything.

I was able to scrounge up a copy of it by contacting someone at the University of Wisconsin since Gene Pokorny played it there too. The phone number on the CD is (608)263-1888. The exact concert Date was April 21, 2002. The concerto is on Disk one, and as I recall it cost me seven dollars.
Good Luck,
Julie
