Check out Doug Yeo's (bass bone Boston Symphony Orch) website: www.yeodoug.com

He is a Serpent virtuoso. I believe he plays one made by Chritopher Monk (could be mistaken).

On his site you will find some articles about the serpent "Tempted by a Serpent."
