Okay, I admit that I have really enjoyed my time with Harv and lord knows that my kids like his work (as a non player I have to take their word for it )
A while back I bought my daughter a Conn upright bell euphonium in silver. It was pretty rough as can be seen below...
This is what it looks like now that Harv has worked his magic. He had to replace the lead pipe and he added some length to let it play at 440A. Seems it may have been made in 1901.
So now I have a soft case coming and a polishing cloth nearby to teach her how to take care of such a fine instrument and protect the work of a very good craftsman.

Hi This was a very nice horn to bring back to life. It need a new lead pipe & reciver.I just silver plated it here in my shop.I made the lead pipe a longer,that made the horn easyer to play in pitch. I did a valve job on the horn ,I hone the valve casing,then I sent the valves to Andorson to be hone to size and I hand lapped the valves.The horn has great valve conpression. It became a fun horn to play. I am so glad you like it, thanks for the work.
