Well, this is when the musiic "specials" start to bubble up from between the cracks in the pavement and it'll keep going until New Year's day. ABC just had a "Nick and Jessica's Family Christmas". Music wasn't too great, but the orthodonture was dazzling.

It'll wind up about a month from now with PBS running this guy:

His orchestra certainly is easy on the eyes, but I'm never quite sure if he's happy or is just trying to pass a kidney stone. :lol:

Believe it or not, Rod Stewart has an American Songbook CD out where he sings all the old standards ala Sinatra, Torme or Bennet, etc. It is vile...

He should stick to the stuff he usually does (stuff in which it doesn't matter if you can sing or not...)

Oh come on! We all know that Rodd Steward is a master musician. After all, he is a Grammy Award winner. :wink:

Doesn't your remote have a Mute button? Instead of leaving it alone, learn the important functions.

Its working if he's doing it for the women. My wife likes his turn to jazz, and I can't stand it.

Yanni = Elevator music
I disagree.

Elevator music is bland to the point of utter emptiness, such that after leaving the elevator, you can't remember if there was music playing or not.

Yanni, on the other hand, is actively annoying, and would turn any elevator into a torture chamber that rather than moving up and down goes around the bend.

Wonder why he doesn't get together with Kenny G and put out a few CD's?
