Help me positively identify my horn

So, I bought Everett Gillmore's BBb tuba 2 years ago from Vurl Bland. In the original posting, he labeled the tuba as a Cerveny ABB-601 (which Cerveny still makes, although, they list the horn as being a 5/4 horn instead of 6/4). pigman, who sold Ev the horn, identifies it as being a 1024 (which is not made anymore). Can someone take a look at the picture I have posted below (it's the one in the middle) and tell me what I actually have?

It looks to me to be most like the CBB-696 in the recent Cerveny catalogue. The 601 has a different leadpipe configuration. At 44" tall with a 19.66" bell and .834" bore, Cerveny still calls this a 4/4 horn.

Whatever it is, it should be paired with a Norwegian Star and a shorter signature.

That looks like my 601.
The 321 in your picture is a similar size to my CB50. They look to be about the same height...

Based on that picture, I'm going to say that this is certainly a 601. Thanks for the input!

1024 BB THATS IT
TA THE TIME THERE WERE ONLY A FEW CERveny tuba models

The 68c in BB and in CC
the 1024c in BB and CC
69c which was a big 1024 size horn with a side pulling main slide . We never brought that horn in at Watlers.
They also made the horrible Eb and piston Bb as well as some non discript Eb and F tubas . The high horns only in 3 or 4 valves. In fact we were never able to have them ship a 5 valve cc. The only 5 valve they would make was the 69c BBb
the horn you have came from a lot of I belive 60 that were supposed to be shipped to russia . Along came the Prague uprising and the factory called its US importer Ideal music to see if Walter Sear would help them and take the horns. He did. Thats why there were never 1024's with the Sear name. The Piggy tuba came shortly after. it is a 1024 body with a cut 68c bell.

Years later Geneva international took the importing deal from Ideal and re numbered the horns. The line is still essentially the same I have no idea about the numbers they use now but all the horns are mutations of the originals.

Ill be in frankfurt at the Messe and will try to get some pitures of their whole line

Wow, that's really cool. So, just so that I'm clear, this horn is not really a 1024 or a ABB-601, but is in fact a mashup between a 1024 and a 68C. Correct? Does that mean that the 69C was actually larger than what I currently have?
