Hello all. I bought a very used Conn20J in January. I then took it to Milano's Music Feb. 12 to have a new lead-pipe, chemical clean, and the dents taken out. I just got it back on March 26. I do love it. It plays very well. Cosmetically I spoke with the repair man - Rich and made the decision not to touch the lacquer as it would effect how the horn plays. I am enjoying it. I am including before pics and after pics. I have the extra bit and am playing a Conn Helleberg mouthpiece.
Enjoy!

Looks really cool! I bet it's a blast to play!Søren wrote:Oh Ohhhhh, here we go againmade the decision not to touch the lacquer as it would effect how the horn plays
Re: the lacquer...to have it all relacquered, there's always that chance that it won't play the same after it's put back together. That could be good or bad, but if no reason to risk it... besides, it looks really nice already!

And, if you send it out to be lacquered, the Buffer Monster might get a hold of it and mess it up. It looks really good now!bort wrote:Looks really cool!
