My Conn 25J is in need of new valve springs, where would be a good place to get them? Thanks.

Generic Allied A-383 springs. Any repairman should be able to get you a set.

How about the Yamaha euph springs? I keep meaning to get a set to try out on my rather stiffly sprung King Eb...

Re: Valve springs for Conn 2xJ
The Yamaha euph springs (same ones as are used in the Yamaha Eb tubas) are great springs to use in the Kings. The 20J has A LOT more friction area than the Kings. You'll find out if you have great valves or not if you put in Yamaha springs.Bob Kolada wrote:How about the Yamaha euph springs?
