It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Hungarian conductor, Janós Sándor passed away this morning in Victoria with family by his side. For the last 15 years Janós conducted the University of Victoria Symphony Orchestra. During my undergrad there he inspired not only me, but countless other musicians who had the pleasure of working with him.
