I just found out that I have another graduate assistantship available for the fall. Great news... especially if I had found out months ago so I could have done my homework for the perfect fit.
So... are you one of those procrastinators looking for an assistantship? The position can be very flexible to work with your skill set. It could be with bands, music theory, or other...
Our assistantships cover full tuition, out of State fees, and a stipend. i think it pays around $6000. I would need to check for specifics.
Degrees offered are Masters in Wind Conducting, Music Education, and Performance.
Please forgive the informality of this post, but this really is an "act now" type of scenario. We need to be in discussions this coming week or the position will go to another department.
If you have any interest or curiosity, send me a PM.
