Is my computer infected ?

Starting last night I have noticed in the text of this web site and others that certain words were highlighted in green . As if they were a link placed there by the originators of the website. I have clicked on a couple of these words only to be directed to an advertisment . Has anyone else noticed this on this board or anywhere else ?

Well, yes and no. For example, on the page that presented your message, I saw "www.gwmouthpieces.com" in green, somewhat towards the top of the page amongst some other text pertaining to Giddings and Webster, and indeed that was a link to some advertising. But that doesn't make me wonder if my computer is infected.

More generally, I wouldn't expect a computer `attack' to take this form, so probably not to worry. But it's hard to say what's going on, maybe more details would help? specifically what text is affected, any of it appear in the messages we write?

Yes . It appears in the written text . Here's a good example .I have anothe thread going in the main music room in which some one replied and used the word "earplugs". It has at differnt times appeared green as I mentioned before . Also on MIKE FINNS reply he his home city ( Virginia Beach ) over to the right has been highlighted . If I refresh the page the highlited words change. I recently cleared all my temporary files,cookies and such and have not seen this issue come back up again . Maybe it was a temporary thing ?
