Too late here, but no real issues to speak of yet. hopefully I'll be upgrading to an iPhone 4 by the end of the summer, anyway.

I downloaded and installed yesterday on my 3G iPhone, and have no problems at all. Nothing is operating more slowly than it did before. I have 40+ apps, and have no compatibility issues with any of them.

If anyone upgraded to iOS$ and doesn't like it for any reason, here's a link to downgrade it back to iOS3:

http://lifehacker.com/5572003/how-to...your-iphone-3g" target="_blank[s]-from-ios-4-to-ios-313

The website is "Lifehacker" but this process is not reeeeally hacking, just tricking the phone to do what Apple doesn't want you to do.

I've completed the process on my 3G and it works fine. It goes back to whatever you last had backed upp with iOS3 so, if you didn't back up everything before you upgraded to iOS4, you will be losing some things.
