Is there a good recording of Samual R. Hazo Exultate for concert band that anyone can recommend?
My band is performing later this year and I would like to listen to get familiar.
Thanks

Re: Hazo Exultate
We played this piece (many times) this year. Our grad student is away from internet, but will try to send me the recording. If not, I'll just ask if anyone in the band still has it.
It's a pretty straightforward piece that just keeps moving. It spends a lot of time in 7/4, but that settles into a groove pretty fast. There is one section with a divisi that goes up to an Eb above the staff, but it's an easy line so it's never much of a problem. Overall, it's a fun piece that just gets a little old when you have to keep playing it over and over

Pretty good quality for a YouTube video. I believe it's a professional recording. Hope you enjoy!
