One of the reasons I want to go figuring this may be the last game against CU so here's hoping I can get the tix.

While the Rev is away, I will be making posts on Tubenet while having bare feet.
Yep, the little stinky piggies will be out in the open while I type.

No wonder the boat had to give you a bigger suite! :P

UPDATE: I got a new bike last week. On saturday I carried 5 bags of groceries home from the store on it. I think the tuba will have to go in the trailer still.

I've never particularly liked grocery shopping. How am I supposed to know today what I want to eat 3 days from now?

UPDATE UPDATE!

I'm making a pecan pie. The smell is frustratingly amazing. It is hard to sit in the room with it. I'm using a 1945 Karo Recipe. Anything that includes lard, sugar, karo, pecans, butter, eggs, vanilla... will taste AMAZING.

You have been updated and hopefully you suffer 1/10th as much as i will for the next 40 minutes of cooking!

I actually use that site at my dayjob quite frequently, as I can immediately check what our websites look like on the outside after a firewall or network change. We just went live with a new site at 4:00 PM today, and I had that up at the same time I opened up the firewall to the new addresses.

I had a brilliant idea tonight:

Problem: I don't like a lot of milk in my cereal. When I get some in my spoon, I always strain it off before eating the cereal.
Solution: Use a slotted spoon. Or a fork.

It took me 29 years to figure this out. :)

Well now, my good man, what you need, I say WHAT you need, is this most eminently logical (and indeed, quintessentially Vulcan) of all known eating utensils:

Nah, the spork would still hold too much milk -- it's still half spoon. I'm not claiming to have invented anything here. Just a useful (to me) application of a slotted spoon.

Keep a picture of a bottle of milk in your wallet and wave it over your cereal briefly. Should work great.

(How do I know? Back when I was in school, I kept a picture of a bottle of Vermouth in my wallet for making very DRY Martinis... )

I'm not a real fan of milk at all. I substitute a carton of fruit yogurt. Raspberry yogurt over a bowl of (no-sugared) corn flakes and I'm a happy camper.

UPDATE:

Tonight, I learned that even brass legends can fly off the handle, let emotions take the best of them, and slander others just because their feelings are hurt. I need to view my brass idols in a more human way.

Alas, the way some other people react to adversity is incredibly admirable.
