Congratulations to Neptune!

Post by cambrook »

On Saturday Jonathan is tying the knot with Mei:-)

All the best to you both.

And if we see a reply to this from Neptune in the next few days there will be trouble!

Cheers,

It's my duty as a married man to tell you that there is still time to reconsider.

Not likely :D I think I'm the luckiest man alive to find such a wonderful, beautiful and caring woman at my time of life!

Damn Jonathan, that smooth British charm is stronger than I knew! :)

Have an awesome time, and congratulations. You are a lucky man (and she a lucky woman) to live in a time where you *could* meet your spouse halfway around the world. Even just 50 years ago, it'd have been nearly impossible.

Lord Hodgetts,

Thou hast wooed and won thyself a fair lass. Sire, accept the "village's" joy and felicitations regarding thy nuptials. May Divine Providence bless you and thy fair lady and thy house forever.

Your humble servant,
David Gilbreath

Picture with the Beenham Band who wonderfully provided the music for our wedding (with two friends substituting for me on tuba - 'Peach' playing his Neptune)

Okay, we need to dial this back a bit. Jonathon is going to start thinking a little too much of himself.

Jonathon--all the best to you and Mei. I know the long-distance relationship has been a struggle and now that you two are together that part of the struggle is past. The next challenge now begins, perhaps no less challenging, but even more rewarding.

Yes, we have had a struggle to get this far - the relationship a few times almost broke down due to misunderstandings because of communication difficulties and deliberate sabotage by others. Then the bureaucracy to get visa was a nightmare. The fact that we got through all of that shows the strength of love we have for each other.

I have no doubt I have found just the woman for me and feel a very lucky man indeed! :D

BTW Chinese men only seem interested in young women in their 20's, so there are lots of lovely beautiful unattached women in their 30's looking for a man in China.
