PC question -- automated screenshots of a Web cam?

Post by bort »

This question might be a little out there...but people here know lots of stuff.

I've been looking at some Web cams of scenery in National Parks, which update at regular intervals (like 30 seconds or something). I thought it would be interesting to save these images and then piece them together into a time lapse.

I'm looking for a program that will take automated screen shots at regular intervals. Does such a thing exist?

A quick google search took me here:

There are several programs there. I don't know how any of them work. Hopefully you find what you're looking for!

Thanks. I did see that, but was curious if anyone had actually used any of these yet. On the download page for that program, there were some wacky links about what *some* people use Web cams for (wink wink nudge nudge), so I closed out that site since I'm at work. Jeez, I just want to look at some national parks. :)
