I do know they had been inundated with spam in the past few months, and the average postings had gone way down. Maybe Todd & Rose decided it is time to pull the plug.

Exactly why I ditched the forums. The other content was good though. If you get Roger Bobo to write for you, you're doing something right.

I've been wondering too. I think the SPAM has been so bad because Todd and Rose are AWOL. There was generally less discussion there than here but a number of people still got a lot out of it.

It is shame, because TubaNews used to be an excellent site, but since Rose and Todd went back to the states, its seems to have gone steadily downhill :(

Glad they're back up and running, but -- guessing from the comments I saw on the article I just read -- they're still having one hell of a problem with spammers ... :(

Indeed. Right now, as I type this on Saturday morning, there were two new posts that actually were tuba-related, and at least eight spam posts.
