What horn did you use for Tuba Christmas this year?

Miraphone 1291 on the first part in Lansdale and Philadelphia. I got a couple comments on how good the group sounded and how beatiful my new tuba looked

Well, I haven't yet (the Kalamazoo TC is still two days away -- see the Upcoming Events forum), but it'll be the same one I've played there since '75 -- a Sear-Cerveny "601" CC (with a crystal purple Kellyberg this year!).

My practice/rehearsal/throw-in-the-back-of-the-truck horn is perfect for Tuba Christmas. My kelly green painted Conn fiberglass sousaphone and I appeared with at least 40 other true believers in rainy Naperville, IL

Cold War Era 80's Lenningrad (St. Pete) nickle plated 3 rotary valve bartione at the huge one in Glendale, CA.
