Doesn't look like a BAT from that angle. Depends on the price. How are the valves?

It definately looks smaller than my Holton 345. The first valve slide is not plumbed the same either. Holton made a 3 valve bell front version that was, I believe, called the model 340, but it was plumbed just like the 345, just minus the 4th valve. This horn appears to be smaller through the main wrap and the bell.

Got some measurements from the seller. Height 105 centimeters and width 42 centimeters. Doesn't seem to be BAT size after all?!

I have the same horn, in silverplate. It's at my dad's house and don't play it anymore. I'd say it is a full 5/4 size tuba. Sound is huge, deep and beautiful - similar to a 6/4 York CC/BBb, but a bit "huskier", typical of old Holtons. IMO, old Holtons are like slightly huskier sounding old Yorks. Probably why I like 'em
Anyway, getting to intonation........from what I remember:

F right below staff and C in staff are flat. Eb, E and F in staff are all a bit sharp. You have to pull first slide for the sharp Eb in staff and lip down the E and F. Pull for the typical sharp CC and BB below staff.

Response and build are great and it's heavy. Kind of a limiting horn, though, because it's bell front and a 3 valver.
