This is a haiku.
Seven syllables are here.
This line only five.

Well, It's been I while since my last update I was laid of last March and have been unemployed all summer, :D. The state has deemed that I am re-trainable and have allowed me to select a new profession. So, as of this past Monday, I have begun a nine month program at Red Wing, MN in Band Instrument Repair. I'm starting in the woodwind section. This is a real change from my marketing and sales background. 41 in the class from all over the country, quite a cross section of people. I'm guessing I'm the forth oldest.

In a yearly binge of gluttony, tonight I will have my "Last Supper" before I go back to work with kids on Monday. I have found that if I eat it on Saturday instead of Sunday, nobody suffers in my presence on Monday:

1. 8 piece bucket of KFC Extra Crispy Chicken
2. Biscuits from KFC, along with fries and cole slaw
3. Sweet Corn on the grill
4. Fried Okra
5. Twinkies
6. MGD Light in sufficient quantities to sooth the pallette

Tomorrow morning I will be in the gym for a 1 hour spin class. Tomorrow afternoon I will be in.............well, lets suffice it to say there is something to be said for having 2 bathrooms in our house. As I only do this once a year, my arteries are usually unclogged in time for Thanksgiving. Mind you, I have help with this meal, but my wife could blow away in a stiff breeze, so the onus is on me. You have been updated, I'm not sure you needed to be, but IT IS ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Following a month where I had planned overtime, unplanned overtime, a recruit, court, 6 gigs, 14 rehearsals and multiple vehicle service appointments, I have NOTHING on the schedule today.

My Symphony Orchestra cancelled the "Symphony Fantastique" they had on our next program and replaced it with "L'Arlesiene II". WHAT A BUMMER.

Could be worse. They could have replaced it with the New World Symphony.

Worse, and this has actually happened to me, they could have decided to just do the first three movements of Fantastique. "So close, so damned close..."

My wife's ancestry is German (mine is German-Irish). Our fridge is well stocked with plenty of beer. In fact, coming home from Indiana 2 weeks ago, we stuffed our suitcase full of beer that we can't buy out here. Life is good. :tuba:

I'm getting married in four days. Guests will be arriving beginning tomorrow. My house isn't clean enough for guests to be arriving.

Wade is missing the point of cheap beer. The point is that it doesn't matter whether it's good with anything, because it's cheap. Judging the quality of cheap beer is for dilettantes.
