Can anyone recommend a recording of this dual-tuba standard?

Excellent suggestions, thanks. A tuba-centric version does interest me, as my main goal is to learn the excerpts and I've never heard this piece outside of an Elvis Presley context.

I believe the Gold Standard remains Fritz Reiner and the Chicago Symphony from the 1950s. Reiner was a friend of Strauss, and excelled in conducting that composer's music. Plus, I think it was one of the very first stereophonic recordings, from RCA, produced by Richard Mohr.
But hey, it's Richard Strauss, and hence, good stuff!

Tubenet,

My favorite is the CSO with Pierre Boulez.

Don't worry, I didn't lose any sleep over it last night.

Warren played the old Geib Conn and I used my Alexander 163 on that Sinopoli/Also Sprach recording. It was recorded in the Manhatten Center http://www.mcstudios.com/audio-studios/studio7.php in May 1987.
