UGA Graduate Assistant Opportunity

Hello!

There will be a graduate assistantship in tuba open at UGA for the fall of 2011. The duties will include performing in the graduate brass quintet, performing in large ensembles and assisting in the tuba/euphonium studio. The assistantship carries a tuition waiver and a stipend of approximately $11,000 per year.

In addition to this quintet specific assistantship, there are always assistantship opportunities for students (tuba or euphonium) who are extraordinarily well-qualified academically (high GPA and high GRE score). There is also a specific opportunity for students who are first generation college students, educationally or economically disadvantaged, low income or have some aspects of a uniquely diverse background to add to their discipline of study.
