Browsing an Italian site I came around a brand unknown to be:
Loudwes - Elkhart - Indiana - U.S.A.
That engraving is so specific, that I would assume it being true. But this instrument type hardly was made in the US since the Civil War era, if ever:
Valve trombones bent at this angle belong into two distinct European national traditions: Sweden and Italy.
I of course suspect a Chinese origin, but would like any real information about this brand.
