This gets my vote for being the ugliest tuba ever designed.
Beginning again to be a tuba player.
1291 King Double B flat with detachable bell.

I don't know how they managed to make the YBB 621 more ergonomically awkward.

I never really thought those Besson's were ugly, but it is odd to have the bell so low. It looks like it would be impossible to see around the bell when playing one of these.

It certainly is a different design isn't it. In my opinion, I am used to seeing Tubas with the valve cluster positioned a bit further up on the horn. This wouldn't be impossible to play for me, just awkward.
