Hey Joe, I'm aware of the group Knights Templar, but this really is Knight Templar.

It's a wonderful brass band march, and the only thing it says on my score is "Grand Contest March". I'm sure Jonathan has something to say about this...

The Black Dyke performance is interesting for its efficiency and for its BBb tubists’ ergonomics, but I find this performance from the same contest context way more musical in expression and in beauty of sound (of course there are recording circumstances to be considered):UTSAtuba wrote:Hey Joe, I'm aware of the group Knights Templar, but this really is Knight Templar.

Re: "Knight Templar" March?
Knight Templar is a brass band contest march written by George Allan about 100 years ago. It is a popular one to be performed at the Whit Friday march contests just east of Manchester each year.
It is a good march, rewarding to play.
