Actually, these gig bags are left-over from when Miraphone used to make sousaphones. Because of the Euro/Dollar situation they stopped producing them as it was difficult with the currency exchange to be price competitive. We picked these bags up to help them out and they are quite reasonably priced and will fit many of the standard models of sousaphones.
Let me know if you have any questions.
All the best.

Re: Miraphone sousy gig bag?
interesting. i have some doubts about the longevity of my protec bag, some of the straps are beginning to fray after just 6 months.
if anyone has any pictures or any experience with these bags i'd be interested in seeing/hearing.

Hey,
Does anyone know if it would fit a Yamaha YSH411?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Miraphone sousy gig bag?
My protec sousa bag is a well made case, but it doesn't fit a 26" bell, so I had to unstitch it.
The shoulder straps are far too big, even when all the way in.
Have they improved these things, anyone know? I'd buy another one if so.

Re: Miraphone sousy gig bag?
Anyone know of a decent sousa bag that will fit a King with a 26 inch bell? Needs to go on the shoulders.

cant comment on the miraphone bag, but the Protec definately accomodates a 26' King , tight yes, but snug and practical...js

Re: Miraphone sousy gig bag?
When did you get these bags? I had to undo the stitching in mine. I wonder if they have changed the design?
