Tubenet Colors ????

Post by TubaTodd »

Ok weird question. I just got a new 24" Apple studio monitor at work and was astounded at how everything looks on there. One thing that I observed immediately was a difference in the TubeNet colors. On my monitor at home and previous monitor at work, I never realized that the topic/thread selection color of TubeNet was actually a shade of yellow. To me it looked so washed out it looked almost white.

a) Is it supposed to be yellow
b) Anyone else noticed this?

I've tweaked my monitor settings at home until that color was yellow.

Yer talking about the background color of the row when your mouse is over it? That's kind of a pale, "greyed" yellow - should look a little washed out.

It's a gratuitous part of the user interface, if you ask me. It betokens approximately nothing - the row lights up, but a mouse click doesn't find anything there, so it's kind of a non-event. While they're at it, it should probably play notes as you go from one row to the next (maybe it does, I don't listen to my web pages.)

That's the one. Mine was washed out to the point that I had no idea that it even had a yellowish hue. The wild thing is now that I've tweaked my colors to make that a real yellow, I find that colors on other sites actually pop out better. It's like I was able to use TubeNet as a calibration tool. Wild stuff.
