Rockford, IL Symphony Orch.

Post by Norm in Bellevue »

If there is a Tubenetter playing in this orchestra, congratulations! A dear friend of mine just moved from the Seattle area to Rockford. He attended last evening's concert--Amercan in Paris and Carmina Burana, and was quite impressed, particularily with the Orf. He thought the brass and the percussion were outstanding, also the chorus and soloists did a fine job.

That used to be Paul Haugan. I don't know if that's still true.

Actually, the player was Scott Tegge. He's in and around Chicago at Carthage College, The Merit School of Music, and is with the Gaudete Brass Quintet. Great guy- great player! You can check out his bio on his quintet's website: http://gaudetebrass.com/" target="_blank" target="_blank
