I had to go to the bank during lunch and didn't have time to stop home, so I ran by McDonald's and picked up a McRib. For about two and a half bucks (including tax) it was pretty decent - I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm afraid I have to weigh in, again, on this thread. This particular post doesn't seem well-suited to the "Update Update" standard. It is providing actual, useful information. :!:

Yet another reason why chili should be made from pinto or pink beans, not navy beans.

Finally caved in and downloaded iTunes again. I really hate it, and lasted a good 3 months without it. But can't get more music on my iPod without it (I'm sure there *are* ways, but I'll take the easy way out).

The brined turkey is in the oven, pies are baked, sides are prepared, the bottle of Jameson is a shot lighter, tomorrow will actually be relaxing. Happy Thanksgiving. You have been updated.

I have said this before and I'll say it again: As an ex trumpet player, every time I hear this it makes me laugh until I cry. It brings back great jr high school memories of me and my trumpet playing friends when we first discovered Maynard Ferguson.

I am enjoying a quiet Thanksgiving at home with my wife. The road to Rapelje is drifted shut - snow plow went off the road. So I will shovel snow off sidewalks instead.

I just finished watching the last episode of The Wire over the weekend. I think this should be required watching for all Baltimorons. :) I'm sad that I'm out of episodes, and actually it makes me miss my city!!

For an extra measure of safety, she could have put them in that white storm shelter that every bathroom has just for cats, replete with water supply, and shut the lid
